Our AP Students Take the Stage at Yohfest

This week, ten of our Adolescent Program students took part in Yohfest, one of the biggest Performing Arts celebrations in WA. Held at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, the students performed a story dance inspired by the 2026 theme, ‘Health is Wealth’. The performance was created from their own perspective and choreography, giving them the opportunity to explore the theme and express their ideas through movement.

For some of our students, this was their second year taking part in Yohfest, making it a wonderful opportunity to build on their previous experience and confidence. Throughout the event, they were supported by the lovely volunteers, affectionately known as the ‘Smurfs’, who encouraged them to be themselves and enjoy the experience.

With an amazing audience turnout, our AP students were thrilled to have the opportunity to perform in front of their families and wider community. It was a fantastic experience for them to share their creativity, work together as a group and enjoy the excitement of performing on stage.
