Language Students Tackle Inter-Advisory Debates

This term, Language students in the Barna Marlak Middle School have been developing their public speaking and research skills through a series of classroom debates. Students investigated and argued a wide range of complex topics, including the societal impact of AI, animal rights, the proposed four-day work week for Australia, and even popular historical conspiracy theories regarding the pyramids.

The unit concluded this week with our Inter-Advisory Debates. Managing a debate requires a team effort, and standard was incredibly high across the board. Congratulations to all the student speakers, moderators, time-keepers, and the audience for their focus and outstanding participation.
