KIC iScience with Timo

I recently went on a course called iScience run by KIC. I joined in with 32 students from various schools on a seven day program, doing lots of STEM based activities. We visited various industrial sites including New Gen Energy, Wesfarmers and Coogee Chemicals. We learned about the massive variety of science and engineering related career opportunities in the Kwinana industrial area.

For me the main benefit was that the program broadened my horizons in terms of possible future pathways. I’m now really keen to look into the important future energy generation projects which are going to play a big role in big industry, and Australia’s future.
