Music in Montessori

Music supports child development in so many meaningful ways, building fine motor control, supporting language growth, strengthening memory, and helping with emotional regulation. It also brings children together, offering chances to collaborate, listen to one another, and feel part of a shared experience.

In our Montessori classrooms, music lessons are offered as part of the environment, giving students opportunities to explore instruments, rhythm, and sound in hands-on, curiosity-driven ways. Whether they join in by playing, singing, or simply observing, music becomes a gentle way for them to connect with themselves and with their community.
