Making a Difference, One Sandwich at a Time!

Huge thanks to our amazing parent and student volunteers who have joined us for our Eat Up sandwich-making sessions! Working with the dedicated Rockingham Country Women’s Association (CWA), we prepared hundreds of delicious sandwiches, which were then delivered to local schools along with fresh fruit and snacks to support vulnerable children in our community. It’s shocking to think that 1 in 8 Aussie kids go to school hungry, but together, we’re helping make a difference.

Since Term 2 2025, our Adolescent Program students and volunteers have been making around 1,800 sandwiches every three weeks as part of the Eat Up Program, ensuring that students across 18 local schools have access to a substantial lunch. With the support of Telethon7, ATCO, and the CWA, this initiative not only provides meals but also teaches our students the value of community, service, and compassion.

Seeing our students roll up their sleeves and contribute to something so meaningful is incredibly inspiring. Every sandwich they make is a small act of kindness, yet collectively, it has a huge impact — helping feed hungry kids, brighten their day, and strengthen our community.
