Jump Rope for Heart
Over the past term, students across both our Port Kennedy and Rockingham campuses have been skipping their way towards better heart health, taking part in Jump Rope for Heart to raise awareness and funds for the Heart Foundation.
At Port Kennedy, students held their Jump Off Day on Friday 12th September at Cumbre Indoor Soccer Centre. They took part in a 60-minute skipping circuit, rotating through a variety of activities. A special thank you to Scarlett and Elaine from Janda, and Mia, Asha, Charles and Norah from Mooja, who did a fantastic job demonstrating their skipping skills for the three PK classes.
At Rockingham, the Jump Off event was held onsite on Tuesday 9th September. A big thank you to the Turtle children for organising and running the jumping stations. It was a great moment seeing all six classes skipping together — including our Children’s House children, who joined in with enthusiasm, jumping with ropes and leaping over some very wobbly rope snakes.
Together, both campuses raised an amazing $2,904 for heart health.
A big thank you to all the students, staff and families who supported the event — your efforts and energy helped make it such a meaningful experience.
