Exploring Career Pathways: Career Counselling and TAFE Tour

Career pathways can feel like a big decision, so it was great to have Danielle from the Jobs and Skills Centre at South Metropolitan TAFE visit our school to offer career counselling to our senior students.

Our students also had the opportunity to tour the South Metropolitan TAFE campus and get a feel for what studying there could be like.

One of our students shared:

“Danielle was really helpful and answered all the questions I had. She gave me lots of clarity on the process of applying to university and TAFE and showed me the different pathways I can pursue.

I was shown how to plan out which courses I could take to be eligible for specific jobs, and Danielle encouraged me to speak with people from universities and TAFE so I could make an informed decision about my future.”

A really valuable opportunity for our senior students as they start thinking about what comes next.
