Bringing Books to Life for Book Character Day

Recently, our Primary Campuses celebrated Book Week and International Literacy Day with Book Character Day.

Students chose a book, dressed up as a character from their story and brought their book along to share with their class. Across our Rockingham and Port Kennedy campuses, classrooms were filled with familiar faces from much-loved stories, creative costumes and plenty of enthusiasm for reading.

It was a great opportunity for students to share the books and characters they enjoy with their classmates, while seeing just how many different stories can inspire a costume.

From classic characters to more unexpected choices, there were some seriously impressive costumes on display.
