A Great Start to the Year at Rockingham Campus!

Welcome back to a new year, everyone. It has been lovely to see all the students return and start forming friendships, with 21 new students joining our site. Our Stay and Play afternoon has been moved to Wednesdays. We had such a great turnout this week, so I hope this continues to be a wonderful time for parents to make connections with each other while the students have fun in the playground.

We have had the pleasure of hosting five Chinese students at our site over the past two weeks. They have slotted into our classrooms so beautifully, and the students have made some lovely connections and learned a lot about each other’s cultures. We wish them all the very best as they head home.

Term 1 is always a very busy term, so please keep an eye on the Orbit calendar. We have Parent Education this week, which I highly encourage you all to attend. This is invaluable time with your class teacher. We also have swimming lessons coming up in Weeks 4 and 5, always a fun time and a vital skill to learn. We also have a couple of exciting Community Spirit events coming up, so please keep watch for more information from our volunteer parent group. They are always welcoming new parents to join and help out at our events. More information will be out soon.
