Our Primary School Programs
Independent Primary School In Perth’s Southern Suburbs
Our Primary School journey begins in Children’s House (Pre-Kindy, Kindergarten and Pre-Primary in mainstream settings), where children build strong foundations through hands-on learning in practical life, early literacy, numeracy and cultural studies within a calm, carefully prepared Montessori environment.
Students then progress to Lower Primary (Years 1–3), deepening their understanding across English, Mathematics, Science and the Arts while developing independence, concentration and collaborative skills. In Upper Primary (Years 4–6), learning becomes increasingly inquiry based, with in-depth research projects, leadership opportunities and real-world experiences that strengthen critical thinking and social awareness.
The Montessori National Curriculum is fully approved by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) and is aligned with Australia’s national educational standards. This ensures that children receive a high-quality Montessori primary education while meeting the country’s academic goals.
Across every stage, our Montessori trained teachers guide children to grow academically, socially and emotionally, supporting steady progress and a confident transition to high school and beyond.
Children’s House (3-6)
Our Montessori Children’s House offers a calm, beautifully prepared environment where children grow in confidence, independence and capability. Guided by a dedicated, highly trained Montessori teacher and education assistant, children explore practical life, sensorial experiences, language, mathematics and cultural studies, building strong foundations through purposeful, hands-on discovery.
Lower Primary (6-9)
Our Lower Primary program provides a strong foundation for children aged 6 to 9, combining the depth of primary education with the distinctive benefits of the Montessori approach. Guided by experienced primary teachers who are also Montessori trained, students engage in hands-on learning across literacy, numeracy, science and the arts, building confidence, independence and a solid academic base in a calm, supportive environment.
Upper Primary (9-12)
Our Upper Primary program supports students aged 9 to 12 as they grow into thoughtful, capable and socially aware learners. Guided by an experienced Montessori trained teacher and education assistant, students undertake in-depth research projects, collaborate with peers and explore ethical and social questions. Through purposeful classroom study and authentic “going out” experiences, they develop independence, responsibility and a strong sense of their place in the wider community.
