Pyjama Day Fundraiser

We are pleased to announce that our Port Kennedy and Rockingham primary sites raised $435.70 during our Pyjama Day fundraiser.

This student led initiative raised funds to support foster children through The Pyjama Foundation.

Two Upper Primary students from each site organised the event from start to finish. They planned the day's schedule, visited every class to promote the fundraiser and encourage donations, and created the promotional flyer. They also taught students how to make a cone to hold the all important popcorn treat. At the end of the day, they collected and counted the donations before passing them on to our administration team to be forwarded to The Pyjama Foundation.

The students showed fantastic leadership, teamwork and initiative throughout the project. As soon as the event was over, they were already discussing who they could support next.
