Health & Wellbeing Expo

We were so impressed by the hard work and effort of our Adolescent Program students in creating the first Health & Wellbeing Expo for Study & Work in Humanities & Science. It was a truly student-led event, and their dedication shone through in every aspect.

Public speaking can be tough, especially when you have to get up in front of your peers. But our students did an amazing job presenting on a range of important topics, including Nutrition, Mental Illness, Sleep, First Aid, PTSD, and the Impacts of Sugar. The groups put a lot of thought and effort into their exhibits, and it really showed.

The success of the expo was amplified by the positive and supportive atmosphere created by both the presenters and attendees. One student shared that they felt “students were very respectful and listening well,” which speaks volumes about the level of engagement and maturity at the event. Another student who took part in a yoga session reflected on how the student instructor’s voice was “really calming and made people feel relaxed.” This feedback is a testament to our students’ ability to not only share knowledge but also create a safe and welcoming space for their peers.

A big well done to everyone who participated!
