AP Leaders’ meet with the Commissioner

On Friday, May 15th, the Student Rep Team from the Adolescent Program was invited to attend a conference and lunch with the Western Australian Commissioner for Children and Young People, Dr Jacqueline McGowan Jones. We were given the opportunity to share our ideas about how to make the world a better place for adolescents. We also learnt about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, which governments have signed, committing to protecting children’s rights.

We had an unforgettable experience, which inspired everyone.
